Since 1995 Red Rocket Pictures, Inc. has enjoyed the good fortune and great pleasure of producing memorable moving images for a wide array of clients across the country.
When we say, “We hear you” — We mean it! We listen to our client’s communication objectives and then get to work doing what we do best — bring your ideas to life! Our Red Rocket Pictures team has experience in every facet of film/video production from conceptualizing and scripting to directing, shooting, and editing. We’re headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada and work across the country and internationally with a large network of writers and musicians, producers, camera crews, and postproduction facilities
Plus, since we also own and operate a film/video equipment rental business we can offer you unbeatable deals, because we control all of our own costs! In the corporate arena, Red Rocket Pictures has produced projects for Best Buy, American Express, AMC Theaters, Bell Atlantic, Burger King, Citgo Oil, Entertainment Tonight, FICO, Lawson Software, Nortel Networks, Northwest Airlines, PG&E, and Sprint, among many others.
We’ll travel to the ends of the earth to make your production happen! Red Rocket Pictures has had the opportunity and the challenge of producing video/film projects in a variety of far-flung locations including: The Great Wall of China, an orphanage in Manila, a grade school in Thailand, a concert hall in Tokyo, the canals of Amsterdam, a hospital in Taiwan, and last but not least a small radio station in Chanute, Kansas.
Another area of specialization includes music-based production! Red Rocket Pictures has had the privilege of working with such notable musicians as BB King, Tony Bennett, Keb ’Mo’, The Beach Boys, Chicago, The Doobie Brothers, Aretha Franklin, The Four Tops, Bill Wyman, Kenny Loggins, Spyro Gyra, Steve Miller, The Neville Brothers, Kool & The Gang, Ringo Starr, and Thelonious Moog.
Interviews R Us! For more than ten years Red Rocket Pictures interviewed indie filmmakers and actors at Robert Redford’s Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah and produced a variety of Sundance Film Festival overview segments that were distributed internationally.
A little independence is a good thing!
In addition to our bread-and-butter productions Red Rocket Pictures is also actively involved in a number of self-funded, “Independent” projects. We’re currently in postproduction on a documentary about rural classified radio titled, “Open Mike,” and a yoga program for pregnant women with the working title, “Yogi Mommas." We also wrote and produced a feature-length film, “Garage Sale,” soon to be available as an online download.
NORTHWEST AIRLINES & RED ROCKET PICTURES
In 1991 when Northwest Airlines brought our troops home from the Persian Gulf, Red Rocket Pictures was on location at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida to film that heartwarming arrival.
Since that time Red Rocket Pictures has worked side-by-side with Northwest to produce more than 2,000 videos covering every aspect of corporate communications from informative and motivational to promotional and everything in between.
As Northwest Airlines faced the possibility of bankruptcy, Red Rocket Pictures produced two series of local commercial spots — one series to be aired if bankruptcy was eminent and one to be run if bankruptcy had been avoided. We repeated this same model when the pilots were threatening to strike.
In terms of customer relations, Red Rocket Pictures produced in-flight programs on a wide range of subjects including safety, customs and immigration, charitable affiliations, entertainment options, employee recognition, and more.
Each year, Red Rocket Pictures traveled to Northwest locations around the world to film images and interviews from which we produced showcase programs used at NWA’s annual company-wide employee-recognition gala.
In 2003 Red Rocket Pictures was awarded a three-year contract (that was later extended another three years) to produce the Northwest Airlines World Entertainment Network on a monthly basis. The centerpiece of that network was a magazine-style program called Currents for which we engaged the services of Olympian gold medalist, figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi as host.
We scripted, shot, edited, and distributed Currents for a total of three hours of finished programming on a monthly basis.
Other duties in regard to the Northwest Network included screening, selecting, and procuring short- subject programming from a wide range of content providers including The BBC, Discovery, E! Entertainment, Warner Brothers, HBO, National Geographic, and NBC Universal..
BURGER KING and RED ROCKET PICTURES
Red Rocket Pictures worked hand-in-hand with Burger King’s in-house video department to produce behind-the-scenes segments of their advertising campaigns as a way of keeping their employees in the loop and up-to-date on their advertising campaigns and messages. As a result we produced several interviews with Shaquille O’Neil and worked backstage at the Kid’s Choice Awards in obtaining other celebrity interviews. We also produced a variety of man-on-the-street interviews with “real” people as a means of motivating Burger King franchise owners.
And, like Northwest Airlines, Burger King hired Red Rocket Pictures to produce the showcase videos for their annual franchise owners conferences.
When Burger King moved into their new corporate headquarters in Miami, Florida, Red Rocket Pictures was brought in as a consultant to help design and equip their new in-house production facility that included a small sound stage, two edit bays, and a Pro-tools audio studio.
FAIR ISAAC CORPORATION (FICO) and RED ROCKET PICTURES
Since 2005 Red Rocket Pictures has been FICO’s video vendor of choice helping them to build an enviable on-line testimonial library.
In addition to ongoing production of customer testimonials, Red Rocket Pictures also video tapes and provides editorial services for FICO’s CEO Mark Greene as he presents quarterly reports to employees.
Our ability to shoot and edit anywhere in the country on a moment’s notice has been a valuable tool in growing and maintaining this relationship because it offers the ultimate in flexibility to a fast-paced organization with multiple locations like FICO.
Similar to our arrangement with Burger King, Red Rocket Pictures has also assisted FICO in obtaining the equipment and assisting with the set-up of their own in-house studio.
