Incorporated in 1995, Red Rocket Pictures, Inc. creates film and video services on an ala Carte basis or concept to completion. Headquartered in San Jose, CA with offices in Minneapolis, MN, we work across the country and internationally with a large network of creative partners, i.e. camera crews, postproduction facilities, recording studios and other support services. The Red Rocket Pictures team has experience in every facet of film/video production and an unmatched commitment to meeting our clients’ needs and exceeding their expectations.
In the corporate arena, Red Rocket has produced and/or directed projects for; American Express, AMC Theaters, Bell Atlantic, Burger King, Citgo Oil, Entertainment Tonight, FairIsaac, Lawson Software, Nortel Networks, Northwest Airlines, PG&E, and Sprint, among others.
Our work has afforded us the opportunity and the challenge of producing video/film projects in a variety of far flung locations including; The Great Wall of China, an orphanage in Manila, a grade school in Thailand, a concert hall in Tokyo, the canals of Amsterdam, a hospital in Taiwan and last but not least a small radio station in Chanute, Kansas.
Another area of specialization includes music based production. Red Rocket has had the pleasure and the privilege of working with such notable musicians as; BB King, Tony Bennett, Keb’ Mo’, The Beach Boys, Chicago, The Doobie Brothers, Aretha Franklin, The Four Tops, Bill Wyman, Kenny Loggins, Spyro Gyra, Steve Miller, The Neville Brothers, Kool & The Gang, Ringo Starr.
In addition to our bread and butter productions Red Rocket is also actively involved in a number of self-funded, “Independent” projects. Currently we’re partnering with Origin Films to produce a documentary concerning the controversial subject of teaching Intelligent Design in public schools. And, we’re in post-production on another “doc” about rural “Classified Radio” titled “Open Mike.”
Since 1995, Red Rocket has covered Robert Redford’s Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah where we interview indie filmmakers and actors for a Sundance Film Festival Overview that is then distributed internationally.
